Whats goin on guys? I missed this place the last two weeks, not to mention I really couldnt keep up with the M's because the games didnt start till past 10:00. Now I understand why nobody over there knows a fuckingthing about anything that happens west of the Mississippi. Not to mention, if it doesnt happen in New York they just dont talk about it. If there is one thing Ive learned its New York is the greatest, anybody that plays there is the greatest and anybody who disagrees is stupid.

The Milli Vanilli Award For Worst New Duo (Or Just Fraudulent)
The two new Mariners pitchers, Erik Bedard and Carlos Silva. Bedard finished with okay numbers (3.67 ERA and 72 strikeouts to 37 walks), but he only started 15 games for the last-place team. Not exactly what the team had in mind when they traded Adam Jones and George Sherrill for him. Silva, meanwhile, made all of his starts, but that was probably a bad thing as he ended up with a 6.46 ERA and a 4-15 record. At least he's only signed for another three more years!

I used to watch this every month or so, but this season I've been watching it just about every three days. Nostalgia is useless, but this helps shut up the part of my brain that says we won't see the playoffs for another four score and seven seasons.
